Important Information
Arrivals, flights & seaplanes
This is one of the most important sections to read before travelling. The resort needs your flight details in order to arrange your seaplane transfers between Male and Emerald Maldives.
Please email the resort with your flight details
Once your flights are booked, please email the resort directly with your international flight arrival and departure details into and from Male airport. The resort will then arrange your seaplane transfers accordingly.
Please include:
- Full names of all travelling guests
- Airline and flight numbers
- Arrival date and time into Male
- Departure date and time from Male
- Your villa booking name, if available
Recommended arrival time
Where possible, please book flights arriving into Male before 15:30 to allow for same-day seaplane transfer to the resort.
Guests arriving later may require an overnight stay in Male before travelling onward to the resort the following day.

Ceremony, drinks, dinner and evening celebrations. Full timings and dress code to follow.
Friday - 4 September
Stephen's 50th Beach Celebration
A beach party celebration with music, dancing and a relaxed island feel.
Saturday - 5 September
Relaxation Day
A final full day to enjoy the resort and unwind after the celebrations.
Sunday - 6 September
Departures
Departures from the resort. Seaplane transfer timings will be confirmed by the resort.

The Maldives operates on Maldives Time, GMT+5.
Currency
US Dollars are widely accepted and most resort expenses can be charged to your villa.
Weather
Expect warm tropical weather. Lightweight fabrics and high SPF are strongly recommended.
Dress Codes
Elegant island style
Full dress guidance for each event will be added closer to the celebrations. In general, the style throughout the week will be elegant resort wear, lightweight linens, soft neutrals, tropical evening styling and beach-appropriate footwear.

Which airport should we fly into?
Please fly into Male International Airport, also known as Velana International Airport. The airport code is MLE.
Do we arrange our own seaplane transfers?
No. The resort will arrange seaplane transfers once they have your international flight details.
What time should we arrive into Male?
Where possible, please choose flights arriving into Male before 15:30 to allow for same-day seaplane transfer to the resort.
Is the resort all-inclusive?
Yes, the resort stay is on an all-inclusive basis. Further resort information will be added here as we get closer to the trip.
